To celebrate Earth Day (22 April), we asked young artists from across the country to send in their eco-themed masterpieces – with one lucky winner emblazoned on the cover. What did we get? Almost 1,000 artworks showing off flora, fauna and stunning landscapes, with a cartoon creation by 12-year-old Mavis taking out the top spot!
Check out all the talented runners-up, as well as three inspiring stories about Aussie not-for-profits making big environmental change, in this nature-loving edition. When it comes to saving the planet and inspiring the next generation of artists, the truth is plain to see: from little things, big things grow.
